Dear Friends,
Welcome to "Celebrate Hanukkah," the first in what we hope will
be a wonderful treasure of music in the Celebrate Series. The goal of
our series is to create high quality, attractively packaged compilation
recordings built around special themes.
A special thank you to all of the artists who have joined me in this cooperative
venture. Your music has exposed me to new ideas and roads of expression.
To Glenn Zucman a visual visionary. To Steve Silberman who
loves to see other people's dreams become reality... and dares to help.
To Jon Simon who helped me in the initial stages of planning the
Celebrate Series and at one time actually entertained joining me as a
co-producer. To Randee Friedman for her time, passion and expertise.
And to Judy Ginsburgh, Joel Grishaver, Moishe Rosenfeld, Louise
Taubman, Rhonda Lieberman, Debbie Miller, David Polansky and Nancy and

I'd like to conclude, by commenting on the numerous spellings of Chanukah
used on this CD. I find it rather appropriate as the spellings,
like the songs, are all different. valid and part of our wonderful creative
expression. No matter how YOU spell Chanukah, I urge you to explore
and embrace a Chanukah ritual that works for you -- something personal,
something unique. May you enjoy this recording wherever you are
and truly CELEBRATE HANUKKAH!
